Laura Kasischke was raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. “Julianna Baggott has a fierce imagination which probes the ordinary details of a woman’s life and lights up both the sacred and profane.” She lives in Florida, where she teaches at Florida State University. She has published more twenty books to date, including the Pure trilogy, Lizzie Borden in Love, and, most recently, Harriet Wolf’s Seventh Book of Wonder. Julianna Baggott is a poet, fiction writer, and essayist who also publishes under the names Bridget Asher and N. Both are poets as well as fiction writers, and will talk about the lure of each form.
